You’re Killing Me Smalls
In The Sandlot, Scotty wanted to learn and play ball with the other kids. But the reality is Scotty found himself to be an outsider in the group because he lacked the knowledge and skill the other boys had. He eventually discovered that what he needed wasn’t as much the skills and knowledge, as a source. Jesus is our source, giving us the encouragement and strength to push forward. Just as He was for the bleeding woman, Jesus can be our source of healing and power in our life. Jesus doesn’t look at you and say, “You’re Killing Me Smalls” when you mess up or make a mistake.
